  1. The founding team walking the shop floor beside an early airframe
    2019

    The Genesis

    Officially incorporated as Ubifly Technologies Pvt. Ltd. at IIT Madras by Prof. Satya Chakravarthy and core engineering leads. Developed the core concept of the Synergistic Lift architecture, decoupling vertical rotors from forward flight wings to optimize energy consumption.

  2. 2021–2022

    Early Subscale Testing (e6 / )

    Built and flight-tested the e6 () hybrid drone for surveillance and cargo logistics. Initiated international patent filings for the Synergistic Lift architecture across 25 jurisdictions.

  3. 2023

    e50 Flight Test

    Successfully completed the flight test phase of the e50 (3/8th scale prototype), proving vertical takeoff, forward transition flight, and vertical landing.

  4. The team with the DGCA Design Organisation Approval
    2023

    Regulatory Landmark

    DGCA DOA Grant: became the first private Indian entity to secure Design Organisation Approval (DOA) from the DGCA.

  5. The team marking the close of the $14M Series B round
    2024

    Series B Fundraise

    Secured $14M in Series B funding ($21.5M cumulative capital).

  6. 2024

    EP3F Propeller Enters Certification

    Received DGCA acceptance for the in-house propeller certification program.

  7. The e200X Type Certification application accepted by the DGCA
    2024

    e200X Type Certification Acceptance

    DGCA formally accepted the Type Certification (TC) application for the flagship e200X.

  8. 2025

    Patent Grant & Design Freeze

    Synergistic Lift patent officially granted in 10 countries, including India. The full-scale e200X airframe design unveiled at AeroIndia. Cross-sector commercial commitments established across emergency medical services (ICATT Air Ambulance) and passenger air taxi operators.

  9. 2026

    Full-Scale e200X-PT01 Unveiling

    Unveiled the first full-scale, 2.2-ton carbon-fiber prototype (e200X PT-01) at the new 60,000 sq. ft. Thaiyur facility.

  10. The team with global Tier-1 engineering partners
    2026

    Global Footprint Expansion

    Established Tier-1 supply chain and engineering integration with global partners including NVIDIA, HENSOLDT Avionics and AMS Heli.

  11. The team ahead of the certification flight test campaign
    2027–2028

    And Beyond — Certification & Commercialization Roadmap

    Rigorous flight testing campaign with PT-01, PT-02 and PT-03 under DGCA supervision. Target completion of DGCA Type Certification, initiating commercial air taxi and air ambulance operations.
